Matterport Virtual Tours

How long does it take to create a virtual tour?

The job will vary due to the square footage and floor plan. Most jobs under 2,000 square feet will take approximately one hour.

How does the camera work?

The camera is placed throughout the space and spins while it scans the environment, Once all scans are taken they are meshed together to form a 3D tour of the environment.

Do I as the customer need to do anything before a tour is taken?

You will need to make sure everything is set up the way you would like it to be seen.

Can the camera work outdoors?

Yes! 3D tours can be taken outside making for endless possibilities to show exterior and interior environments.  Also, 360 views can be taken outside which are similar to a panoramic photograph.

How long will it take to process my tour? 

Usually, it will take 24 to 48 hours.

What are Mattertags?  

Mattertags allows you to highlight certain features within your tour. These tags can include text, images, audio files, and videos. 

How do I access my tour?

You will receive a link that can be shared easily through text and email. Your tour can also be published on your website or on a social media program. 

Can my tour remain private?  

Yes, links can either be public for anyone to view or a password can be added allowing only certain parties access. 

What forms of payment are accepted?

Cash, Credit/Debit, Paypal, Venmo

Can you view a Matterport space with a Virtual Reality system? 

Yes! Matterport VR is available on the following systems.

  • Samsung Gear VR
  • Google Cardboard
  • Google Daydream (through WebVR)
