Genesee Brewhouse Facts:
Established in 1878.
One of the largest and oldest continually operating breweries in America.
A 9,200sqft. destination featuring: interactive exhibits, multimedia content, gift shop, pilot brewery and pub-style restaurant
The Brewhouse and the building itself was Genesee Brewhouseas in fact part of the original Genesee Brewery campus more than 100 years ago.
The building was referred to as “Building #9” at the start of the 20th when Century Standard Brewing Company. It housed their state-of-the-art bottling line.
When prohibition struck in 1920 Standard Brewing Company stopped brewing.
Building #9 was purchased by Genesee it served as a storage facility.
The Brewhouse Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony was on August 31, 2012.
The Brewhouse is dedicated to the hardworking people who have brewed the iconic beers for generations.
